The town of El Golfo faces the second week of the popular festivals of La Pardela in which it will offer music, dance, fellowship and, above all, a lot of humor for the weekend. Among the proposed activities is the Pardela Gala and its expected satirical show Los Misses.
Likewise, the party starts on Friday night with the parrandero touch of Son del Norte, Los Valles and Pal' Porrón, the three groups that animate the Chinchorro y Salitre Festival (9:00 p.m.).
Saturday is the day of greatest activity because although the public focuses much of its attention on Los Misses, this year's program, in addition to last weekend's hiking day, makes another environmental nod by calling on volunteers to a cleaning action of the town's coastline with a meeting point at 9:00 a.m. in the Charco Los Clicos parking lot, an activity organized by Pura Vida and Kayak Lanzarote with the support of the Yaiza City Council.
On the same Saturday, in the time slot from 12:00 to 16:30 hours, the Cachorro party is scheduled, which has in its program the live performances of the rock band Treintytantos and the singer Pepe Benavente.
And as there are always reserves of strength and spirit, Sunday brings the festive closing with La Chalanería wrapped in batucada, piñata, music and water party. The El Golfo Festival Commission and the Festival Area of the Yaiza City Council invite the people of Lanzarote to participate. The complete program is published on yaiza.es, and also the form to register for the voluntary coastline cleaning day that has a previous yoga class.
