The Department of Festivities of the Arrecife City Council has presented the new show of the Alegría Circus 'Aqua Circus' that will carry out its show in the tent located in the fairgrounds from March 17 to April 2. More than a hundred people make up this circus that transports up to 25 trailers and 30 caravans. For this particular show they have 24,000 liters of water that they move from city to city.
"It is a pride for Arrecife to have one of the best shows internationally," said the Councilor for Festivities, David Duarte. The mayor has detailed that acrobats, artists, dancers from up to twenty nationalities, have settled in Arrecife "so that the whole family can enjoy a unique show".
For her part, the artistic director of this circus company, Dicky Faggioni, has pointed out that they have never done "such a costly job, both in terms of human and economic effort." In this sense, she has detailed that the company has worked "for 14 months while we were representing our previous show. The wear and tear has been terrible, but the result is surprising".
After the presentation, the artists have performed a small show, with live voice in which they have shown the quality of aerial acrobatics, one of the main numbers of the show.
Tickets to attend the show can be purchased from eight euros at www.circoalegria.es, and at the circus box office.
