Although the average daily rate per night decreased in November from 100 euros to 97.76 euros, tourist accommodations in Lanzarote earned a total of 65 million euros in November with an occupancy rate of over 85%.
Of the total, almost 51 million euros went to hotels, while non-hotel accommodations obtained just over 14 million.
There were a total of 227,329 travelers staying during the month of November, who enjoyed 1,400,000 overnight stays on the island.
The average stay of tourists was seven and a half days, slightly higher than the stays in October, but lower than those in the summer, which exceeded eight days on average.
Employment continued to grow in this type of establishment with 355 more jobs than at the end of the previous month. The total number of employees amounts to 10,533 people.
