Rental prices fell in July in Arrecife

However, rental prices in the capital of Lanzarote are 17.4% more expensive than a year ago

The price per square meter for rent in Arrecife reached its historical maximum last June, when it marked 11.5 euros, according to the price index of the real estate portal idealista.com. 

In July, prices fell to 11 euros per square meter, which represents a decrease of 4.3%, but they are 17.4% above what they cost in the same month last year, when the square meter was at 9.3 euros. 

In the entire Canary archipelago, rents also fell in July, the fall was 1.9%, so the square meter currently costs 13.9 euros.

Also in June, rents had marked the historical maximum for rent in the Canary Islands. At that time, the square meter cost 14.2 euros. However, in July of last year, the average rent in the Canary Islands was 9.7% cheaper than now. 

Meanwhile, nationally, the square meter marked 13.1 euros in June, 1.6% less than it cost in June, but 10.4% more expensive than twelve months before.
