The average price per square meter in Lanzarote marked 2,435 euros at the end of August, a price 2.2% lower than what it had marked at the end of July when it cost 2,492 euros.
However, prices are 9.1% above what they marked in August of last year, according to the Lanzarote Data Center based on the price index of Idealista.com.
By municipalities, prices fell throughout the island with the exception of Tías, where they continue to rise. The most significant decrease is observed in Teguise, where the square meter has gone from costing an average of 2,393 euros in July, to marking 2,076 in August.
In Arrecife, the average price went from marking 1,762 euros in July to costing 1,700 at the end of August. Similar decreases are observed in Haría, where the square meter currently marks 2,101 euros, and Tinajo, where it is at 1,902 euros.
The average price remained the same or decreased slightly in San Bartolomé (2,042 euros) and Yaiza (3,459 euros).
On the other hand, in Tías, the price increased from 3,417 euros in July to 3,481 in August.
