In recent years, the shortage of housing has meant that accessing a home, of almost any type, is a luxury for more and more people. However, dreaming is free and most citizens admit to visiting luxury home listings and imagining a different life.
According to the real estate portal Idealista.com, among the houses of more than one million euros, the most desired in the Canary Islands during 2024 is an 11-room villa in the south of Tenerife, for sale for 8.5 million euros.
The house, located in Adeje, has about 1,600 square meters, ocean views and two swimming pools, one outside and one inside with sauna.

The villa, built with "materials of the highest quality" such as marble, has five bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and several terraces on all levels.
