The Tías Budget for 2006 exceeds 25.5 million euros

The reason for this increase is the increase of nearly one million euros in direct taxes and fees collected and the 2 and a half million that they plan to collect with the upcoming public auction of 10% of the land use of the Partial Plan of the Golf Course that corresponds to the City Council of Tías.

The largest budget item is allocated to the areas of social services, sports and culture and public infrastructure and tourist areas, which will receive 38% of the total, followed in second place by 36% allocated to personnel expenses.

The current debt presented by the consistory's accounts amounts to 9 million euros in loans and 5 million in treasury operations. According to the mayor, the budget contemplates a "balance between income and expenses" and hopes to end the year with a positive balance.

José Juan Cruz has emphasized that this budget is "realistic because it rigorously includes both income forecasts and obligations" and gives priority to municipal and infrastructure services, among which he highlighted the investment that will be executed in the access improvements in Puerto del Carmen, which is around 3 million euros.

The budget will be presented before the Plenary of the City Council of Tías next Wednesday, March 1, to be submitted to debate and subsequent approval.
