The Pueblo Marinero of Costa Teguise hosts, every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the artisan market that the Commerce and Markets area of the Teguise City Council has launched with the help of Aical (Intercultural Crafts Association Lanzarote). This is a promotion campaign for the Costa Teguise Craft Walk. This market, according to the Council, constitutes an area where you can buy an original gift and meet its creator, in addition to enjoying live music, terraces and children's entertainment.
The head of the area, Mari Paz Cabrera, has encouraged residents to consume "products made by the island's artisans, with the originality that this represents, especially at this time of gifts that are intended to be unique."

For his part, the representative of Aical, Fernando Redondo, highlighted that this group is in Costa Teguise every Wednesday of the year, "in order to promote crafts, culture and the local economy among tourists and the local population."
This new meeting point for island artisans is a complementary offer to the traditional Sunday Market in the Villa de Teguise.
