An incident has left many Jazztel customers without mobile phone service, as the company itself has acknowledged through social networks, although without specifying the number of those affected or the areas of the blackout.
The company has added "that they are working to repair the fault and restore the service as soon as possible." Also on their facebook they have reported that the company "will compensate customers affected by this incident." "Once the service is restored, the company will immediately contact all affected customers to inform them of the resolution. We deeply regret the inconvenience we may be causing our customers," they have reported.
The incident occurred at 12.30 pm Canary time and the scope is national.
Jazztel, which uses Orange's mobile access network to provide coverage to users throughout the country, had more than 1.16 million mobile customers at the end of the year, which is 240% more than the previous year, according to Europa Press.
