Projects can now be submitted for the third edition of the Semillas de Talento Program, which will remain open until January 30.
The two selected projects will have one year to materialize. They will have the technical support of the professionals of the Chamber of Commerce and will participate in a training program specialized in business management with the purpose of turning their idea into a company in 12 months. The beneficiaries will be located in an office of the Business Incubator. The offices are equipped with furniture, computer equipment, internet connection, cleaning service, availability of meeting rooms and support in the dissemination and promotion of the project.
Here we explain what Semillas de Talento consists of (See video)
Check the viability of your project at no cost
‘Semillas de Talento’ is a program of the Employment Area of the Cabildo de Lanzarote led by Jorge Peñas, executed by the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, which aims to incubate entrepreneurship projects. As if it were a scholarship, Semillas offers the opportunity, to recent graduates, to launch an idea and turn it into a company with full support and without incurring any fixed costs. The aim is to discover and support the talent of people who would not otherwise undertake, to assess the viability of the project without any economic risk and with all the necessary tools to start a company.
How to participate in Semillas de Talento
Those interested should submit an application, together with the report of the project they intend to develop and its documentation, by email, digitally signed or in person at the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
The requirements to be selected include: being a resident of Lanzarote, having a degree in Vocational Training or University for a maximum of five years, not being registered as self-employed or a company or, if applicable, that the registration does not exceed two years of age. Priority will be given to ideas linked to the environment and the digital field, which have the potential to generate added value in the local economy.
Two annual projects
The Cabildo de Lanzarote finances this program for two annual projects. This is an exclusive program with the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote. The Employment area collaborates in other programs such as the Comprehensive Qualification and Employment Program (PICE) for people between 16 and 29 years old or the Dual Vocational Training Program.
