Last Saturday, October 27, the second annual call for obtaining the Recreational Boat Skipper (P.E.R.) license was held at the Lanzarote Fishing School. 86% of the students at Academia Náutica Lanzarote managed to pass the exam, which, together with the navigation and radio practices, will enable them to handle boats up to 15 meters in length.
In the coming months of November and December, Academia Náutica Lanzarote will be teaching mandatory navigation practices for those students who have applied independently, as the academy's students have already completed them. Mandatory engine practices will be carried out on demand.

- December 1: PER extension
- December 4: radio practices
- December 15 and 16: sailing practices
- December 22: Navigation License.

Academia Náutica Lanzarote offers classes and practices for all sports courses, as well as mandatory and optional practices. One of the advantages of this company is that the mandatory P.E.R. practices are taught on the Aura Marina, a 15-meter-long boat with 1100 HP of power in two engines, so that students are trained in the reality of the attributions they obtain.
For the sailing, yacht skipper, and yacht captain practices, the Alyne, a 12-meter Bavaria sailboat from 2007, is used.

The navigation license practices, formerly known as "titulín", are taught in a single day in a six-hour course, 2 hours of theory and four hours of practice. The theory hours are taught on board the Aura Marina boat, in Playa Blanca, and the practice hours on board the Abisea. The Abisea is another boat from this Academy, a Valiant PT850 with two Verado engines of 175 HP each.
Academia Náutica Lanzarote is also approved to teach Merchant Marine courses, as well as some of the professional certificates of the STCW convention.
