The new Macrofit Arrecife gym, located in the Marina Lanzarote Shopping Center, will open its doors next Monday, April 3, with a day of free zumba, pilates and spinning classes, among other activities.
The opening of this new sports venue was highly anticipated news for users affected by the sudden closure of the previous gym in the Shopping Center, who, thanks to the agreement between the management of Marina Lanzarote and the managers of Macrofit, will be able to rejoin the new facility without losing the fees they had already paid.
The Arrecife gym will be the fifth gym in the Macrofit chain, which already operates successfully on the island of Gran Canaria, where it has more than 6,000 members in its Vecindario, Castillo de Agüimes, Juan XXIII and La Ballena centers. The new Macrofit Arrecife will have similar features and will host the same type of activities that have been so successful among users in Gran Canaria.
There will be specific areas for functional training, bodybuilding, free weights and cardiovascular training, in addition to directed activities such as spinning, zumba, gap, pilates, bodypump or bodycombat, among others.
Another important novelty will be the schedule. Macrofit Arrecife will be open from Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 23:00. On Saturdays it will open from 08:00 to 20:00 and on Sundays and holidays it will also be open between 09:00 and 15:00.
The equipment that the first users of the gym will premiere, of the latest generation, has been acquired by Macrofit specifically for this new facility. Its arrival in Lanzarote has been the main factor that has conditioned the opening date of the gym. The enormous effort made by the Macrofit staff during the last weeks has allowed to accelerate the installation works of the new machinery and to advance several weeks the putting into operation of the new center.
