This morning, the prestigious chef Jorge Peñate presented at Magma Innovation Hub the menu that he will serve at Kentia Gourmet Club during the IV Atlantic Gastronomic Days. The famous chef has explained his proposal, which consists of 10 dishes that reflect his cuisine in a perfect combination of tradition and avant-garde.
Jorge Peñate leads the kitchen of the La Terrace restaurant and Liquid restaurant in the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora hotel in Tenerife. It is precisely in La Terrace where he develops the concept that he is bringing to Lanzarote. A concept where he pays tribute to the sea, with strictly Atlantic products (algae, mollusks, rock fish), with fresh and quality raw materials, which he transforms into creative, innovative, delicious dishes, where respect for the product is the protagonist.
Chef Jorge Peñate, together with his second, Luis Martín, will prepare a menu called "Evolution and Origin", where his island roots take center stage.
Peñate will be in charge of putting the icing on the cake of the Atlantic Gastronomic Days "Canarias en el Paladar", a different proposal developed by Kentia throughout this year. Attendees have been able to enjoy tasting menus where flavor, simplicity and creativity have been the true protagonists. An avant-garde cuisine with traditional flavor that has been prepared, on previous occasions, by chefs Abraham Ortega, Nacho Hernández and Marcos Tavío.
