The Canary Islands closed this Tuesday, May 26, without deaths from coronavirus, so so far there have been 158 deaths from Covid-19 in the archipelago since the health crisis was established.
In addition, according to data from the Canary Islands Ministry of Health, five more positives have been recorded in the last 24 hours throughout the islands, thus reaching a total of 2,329 cases, although this figure differs from the one provided this afternoon by the Ministry of Health, which lowers the number of positives in the archipelago to 2,323.
The director of the Center for Coordination of Health Alerts and Emergencies, Fernando Simón, attributes the differences between the data provided at a general level to series adjustments, duplicates and cases that were not confirmed.
