The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has notified this Sunday 124 new cases of coronavirus in the archipelago, in a day in which no deaths have been recorded for the second consecutive day.
Regarding daily cases, they represent a significant decrease compared to previous days, although this Saturday fewer tests were also carried out, specifically 2,411, compared to the approximately 2,900 that had been carried out.
By islands, Tenerife adds 91 new cases, Gran Canaria 23, Lanzarote 5, Fuerteventura 3 and La Palma 2, while La Gomera and El Hierro have not registered any.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 56.34 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 105.15 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands since the beginning of the pandemic is 60,272, with 2,830 active, of which 27 are admitted to the ICU and 207 remain hospitalized.
