The number of patients hospitalized for Covid-19 in the Canary Islands has fallen to two people, one of them in the ICU, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health.
Thus, the total number of cases in the archipelago since the beginning of the health crisis is 2,445, of which 60 remain active --58 of them at home, one hospitalized on the ward and another in intensive care--.
In the Canary Islands, 2,223 people have been discharged after overcoming the coronavirus and the number of deaths remains at 162 for another day, with almost 21 days without deaths.
By islands, and following the item of the declaration of the case, the one with the most accumulated positives is Tenerife, which has 1,609 --23 active--; followed by Gran Canaria with 609 --9 active--; and Fuerteventura, 54 cases --28 active--.
Meanwhile, La Palma, 89 cases; Lanzarote, 88; La Gomera, 7; El Hierro, 1; and La Graciosa, zero cases, currently have no active covid patients.
The deaths by islands are distributed as follows: 114 deaths in Tenerife; 3 in La Palma; 40 in Gran Canaria, and 6 in Lanzarote.
