Canarias adds this Friday 2,065 new cases of coronavirus. In addition, in the last hours the death of five people in Gran Canaria between 62 and 87 years old has been reported. All had previous pathologies and were in hospital.
The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 420.46 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 867.25 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Until this Friday, a total of 3,280,392 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 6,112 correspond to Thursday.
By islands, Tenerife adds 831 cases with a total of 6,789 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 937 more than the previous day and 7,413 active cases. Lanzarote adds 113 new cases with 651 epidemiologically active cases; Fuerteventura has 35 new cases and 475 active cases. La Palma adds 98 new positives, so it has 451 active cases. La Gomera has 26 new positives and has 118 active cases, and El Hierro adds 25 new cases, so its assets are 68.
The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 297,056 with 15,965 active cases, of which 35 are admitted to the ICU and 287 remain hospitalized.
