Canary Islands registers six new positive cases of Covid in the last day

The number of active cases amounts to 165 since there have been no discharges in the last 24 hours

Active cases in the Canary Islands decrease to 120

Canary Islands has registered six new positive cases of coronavirus in the last day. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the number of active cases amounts to 165, since in the last 24 hours there have been no discharges.

The archipelago accumulates 2,574 cases since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 2,247 overcame the disease and 162 died.

Of the 165 active cases, there is one person admitted to the ICU and three on the hospital floor. The rest are in home isolation.

According to the place of declaration, the positives have increased in Tenerife and Gran Canaria where there are 49 and 40 active cases respectively. Gran Canaria remains with 65 and Lanzarote with eleven, while La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro continue without active cases.
