Canary Islands registers 606 new cases of Covid in a day without deaths

The archipelago has 11,869 active cases after 448 discharges have also been added

Canary Islands has registered 609 new cases of Covid, 195 less than the previous day. In addition, in the last 24 hours no deaths have had to be mourned.

The total number of accumulated cases in the archipelago since the beginning of the pandemic is 75,491, of which 11,869 are active after 448 discharges have also been added. In the ICU there are 69 patients admitted and in the hospital ward 421, while the 11,379 are in home isolation.

The accumulated incidence at seven days in the Canary Islands stands at 245.18 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 447.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife has added 303 positives and has 6,975 active cases, Gran Canaria has registered 259 new cases and 3,973 active; Fuerteventura has reported 21 new positives and has 490 active cases, and Lanzarote has added 19 new cases and has 162 active. For its part, La Palma has registered four new cases and has 180 active, and La Gomera and El Hierro have not added new positives, with 75 and 13 active cases respectively.

Until this Monday, 1,788,266 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 5,195 correspond to the last day
