Canary Islands adds three deaths and registers 123 new cases of covid

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 43.52 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA at 14 days is at 90.67 cases

The Canary Islands has registered 123 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total number of accumulated cases in the islands now rises to 53,544 in the archipelago, while the number of deaths rises to 739 deaths, after adding three deaths --two in Gran Canaria and one in Tenerife--, according to the data that the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Executive advances daily after 2:00 p.m.

Thus, of the total cases, 2,929 are active (-109), of which 72 are admitted to the ICU (+3), 248 remain hospitalized (-11) and 2,609 are at home (-101). In addition, 49,876 people have already overcome the disease in the islands after being discharged 229 in the last hours.

Regarding the Accumulated Incidence (IA) at 7 days in the Canary Islands, it stands at 43.52 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA at 14 days is at 90.67 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. To date, a total of 1,069,620 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 56,946 have tested positive, representing 5.32 percent of the total.

By islands, Tenerife adds 56 new infections with a total of 23,206 accumulated cases, of which 1,939 are epidemiologically active (-96), 410 have died (+1) and 20,857 have overcome the disease; while Gran Canaria has 21,905 accumulated cases (+35), of which 823 are active (-20), 257 have died (+2) and 20,825 have been discharged.

Lanzarote, for its part, accumulates 5,036 (+27), of which 130 are epidemiologically active (+15), 48 have died and 4,858 have been discharged; Fuerteventura has 2,268 accumulated cases (+1), of which 14 are active (-3), 13 have died and 2,241 have overcome the disease.

La Palma, for its part, adds one case and accumulates 534 (+1), of which seven are active (-4), six have died and 521 have overcome the disease; El Hierro remains with an accumulated 363, of which 13 remain active (-3), four have died and 346 have been discharged.

La Gomera adds three new cases and accumulates 231, of which there are three active, one person has died and 227 have overcome the virus.
