The Canary Islands has a total of 289 new cases of COVID-19 this Monday. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 103,099 with 3,411 active, of which 33 are admitted to the ICU and 218 remain hospitalized. In the last hours, the death of a 74-year-old man in Tenerife has been reported, who suffered from previous pathologies and remained hospitalized.

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 96.23 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 175.33 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife adds 125 cases with a total of 1,475 cases that are epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 109 more than the previous day and 1,463 active. Lanzarote adds 17 new cases with 139 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 34 new cases, and 273 active. La Palma adds three new positives, so it has 47 active. El Hierro does not add new positives, so it remains at one active. La Gomera adds a new case, so it has 13 active.

Until this Monday, a total of 2,394,950 diagnostic tests have been carried out on the Islands, of which 4,120 correspond to Sunday.
