Canary Islands adds 1,774 new positive cases of Covid and one death in the last day

The Archipelago has 13,378 active cases, of which 34 are admitted to the ICU and 284 remain hospitalized

This Tuesday, the Canary Islands has a total of 1,774 new cases of coronavirus. In addition, in the last few hours, the death of an 88-year-old woman in Tenerife has been reported, who was in hospital and had previous pathologies.

As of this Tuesday, a total of 3,299,565 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 7,003 correspond to Monday.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 407.41 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 880.07 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife adds 852 cases with a total of 6,022 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 586 more than the previous day and 5,728 active cases. Lanzarote adds 151 new cases with 615 epidemiologically active cases; Fuerteventura has 31 new cases and 274 active cases. La Palma adds 101 new positives, so it has 521 active cases. La Gomera has 41 new positives, with 159 active cases, and El Hierro adds 12 new cases, so its active cases are 59.

The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 301,932 with 13,378 active cases, of which 34 are admitted to the ICU and 284 remain hospitalized.
