Activities such as going to the beach, hiking or going to restaurants, bars, terraces, cinemas, theaters, museums or exhibitions would not open to the public until phase three of the de-escalation proposal prepared by the Government of the Canary Islands and which must still be approved by the Government of Spain, although some of them would already be considered in phase two as the initial stage progresses.
In the case of the beach, and always speaking in a future third phase of the proposal, it could be attended in a maximum group of three people or the family unit between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., while there would be police surveillance to maintain the distance between people.
Regarding hiking, it could also be done in a maximum group of three people or the family unit as long as it is within an hour's drive from the usual home, with surveillance also being carried out by the police of the forest rangers.
For their part, in cinemas, theaters and museums there should always be fewer than 50 people and a maximum of 1/3 of the ordinary capacity, maintaining an empty space between people who are not together, with a control of the number of the address (to see that it complies with the exit on even or odd days) and wearing masks throughout the function or stay.
Restaurants, bars, cafeterias and terraces
On the other hand, restaurants, bars, cafeterias and terraces would also not open until phase 3 of the de-escalation proposal for the Canary Islands.
In this case, they could occupy up to 50% of their capacity and with maximum groups of four people or cohabiting family groups, only with prior reservation in the case of restaurants, with protection of food exposed in bars and with a safety distance between the tables on the terraces.
Religious worship and funeral homes in phase 2
Before, in phase 2 of the Canary Islands confinement proposal, religious worship would be opened during ordinary hours and with controlled capacity, having a separation as in cinemas and offering communion with specific preventive measures and dispensing a hydroalcoholic solution.
In funeral homes, and also in phase 2, you can only attend if you are a direct family member and with a maximum of 10 people, reinforcing physical distance and with the provision of free hydroalcoholic solution.
First phase
Finally, in the first phase, which does not yet have a start date since it has to be approved by the Government, children and adolescents up to 14 years old could leave from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. maintaining the usual precautions and older people would do so in the morning, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
From there, for the rest of the people, the initiative proposes outings on even or odd days depending on the street number in which they live, except on the islands of La Graciosa, La Gomera and El Hierro, where they can go out every day.
Regarding physical exercise, walks would be allowed from 05:00 to 09:00 and from 20:00 to 23:00 less than 2 kilometers from home, except for running and cycling which will be 4 kilometers and wearing masks in closed spaces.
In addition, regarding access to second homes, it would be allowed to go to those that are no more than an hour away from the usual home.
Regarding shops, in the first phase there would be the opening of administrative buildings, general shops and hairdressers with masks and ID control at the entrance; while veterinary centers may also open during business hours.
