Carmen Betancort has sent a letter to La Voz to denounce that the Mediation and Arbitration Service of the Canary Islands (SEMAC) has no personnel in Lanzarote. "I went to present my conciliation claim and what is my surprise when I arrive at the office of the gentlemen of Industry and they tell me that they do not collect anything, that the SEMAC office on the island has no personnel," she indicates.
This woman went to the Cabildo of Lanzarote but they told her that this procedure "took a long time" and that they "were not responsible". Therefore, she asks: "What do I do? Am I going to Las Palmas to report my claim to SEMAC?", asks Carmen Betancort, who explains that she is currently unemployed.
