Lolo is already at home. Lina, the woman who found this dog that had just been run over near Correos, in Arrecife, was able to return it to its owner, Natalia. The animal is now resting in its home and its owner is "happy" to have recovered him. "It's rare to find such good people, but thank God I've been lucky," says Natalia.

The dog disappeared last Monday the 19th, when his owner was walking him near Harinera Lanzaroteña. "I let him loose in a plain to run a little and he escaped," she says. Natalia went to look for him in El Charco, she was wandering all over Arrecife but couldn't find him.

On Tuesday morning she called the animal shelter, Sara, to ask if anyone had taken her lost dog. "Sara didn't have him," she says. Then she went to the Local Police of Arrecife to report the loss of her animal. During this week she has not stopped looking for Lolo, her pet who has been with her for eight years.

On Thursday she received a call from the Local Police of Arrecife. An agent informed her that he had just seen published in La Voz de Lanzarote the news about a woman, Lina, who was looking for the owner of a dog she found when he had just been run over near Correos.

Natalia read the news but Lina had not left any contact number. Therefore, Natalia contacted La Voz to request help to find this woman. This media outlet managed to put these two people in contact this Thursday afternoon. At night, Lolo was able to return home.

"Lina asked me all the possible information about Lolo to make sure that I was his owner. I understand her, it's normal and I appreciate it," explains Natalia, who congratulates this woman for her "behavior" and for having taken her animal to the vet. "A car hit him and he had a bump, but this woman behaved super well. The truth is that both she and her brother, who was the one who brought me the dog, were lovely. I don't even know how to thank them," she says.

Thus, after this journey, Lolo, a black toy poodle, returned home with his owner. "I'm so glad to have him back", says Natalia.
