A reader has denounced this Monday in La Voz the "delay" of the ambulance to attend to her son in Arrecife. The events occurred at the family home in the capital around 10:00 p.m.

While the young man was suffering from an ailment, the mother had to call the emergency services so that an ambulance could take him to the Molina Orosa Hospital. "He was dripping with sweat," the woman points out.

The citizen criticizes the response she received from emergencies. "The ambulance will take 45 minutes to arrive," the woman was indignant with the health service.

Finally, the family had to drive to the hospital on their own. "I couldn't wait for the ambulance to arrive. I couldn't expose myself to something happening to my son," she says.

The woman residing in the capital of Lanzarote urges the Ministry of Health to install "more services" to be able to make up for the shortcomings that exist on the island.
