She called up to two times alerting that they had broken the front door with blows, and that the assailants were inside. From the Police they answered "that they did not have troops"

A resident of Altavista has contacted La Voz to report an event that occurred in her home last weekend, when individuals knocked on the door of her building, breaking it and entering the building. Faced with this situation, the complainant contacted the National Police, and from there she claims that they replied that "no troops were available at that time.".

She had to call a second time, claiming that it was an "urgent event", and reproaching the National Police that they would be "responsible for what happened there.". Once again, the body replied "that there were no troops, since a boat had arrived at that time."

Then the complainant shouted to the assailants that the police "were already on their way", in order to try to dissuade them. The strategy paid off, and she managed to get them to leave down the street. After a while, "like twenty minutes or more", a couple of police officers came to the place, "apologizing for not being able to come sooner."

"Until something important happens, are they not going to do anything?"

"There is a problem with the National Police," says the complainant, who criticizes that "there is not enough police provision" for Arrecife. "In this case it went well, but I stop to think about an elderly person, or that they come with a more serious intention, what will happen then?", she questions.

The neighbor states that "the administrations and people who have to take care of the citizens who pay our taxes must make a move now", even if this has remained a "bad time". "Until something important happens, are they going to do anything?", she asks.
