UD Lanzarote visited CD Herbania on Sunday morning, accompanied by a large group of fans, on the tenth day of Group XII of the Third Division RFEF. The "rojillos" were erratic when it came to generating dangerous chances, and it was only in the final part of the match that they managed to put the opponent in trouble. The "majoreros" took the three points that were at stake by winning 2-1.
It only took CD Herbania 20 seconds to generate their first dangerous chance. A cross into the area by Chata ended up hitting the post of the goal defended by Ruymán. UD Lanzarote generated danger from a set piece in the 13th minute, with a free kick from Alyson that did not find the three posts of the goal.
CD Herbania continued to control the game during the first half and prevented UD Lanzarote from having the opportunity to give rhythm to their game, cutting off the actions with fouls that were punished by the referee with yellow cards. In the 20th minute, a cross from Chata could not be finished by Peraza and shortly after the visitor Raúl executed a foul that Julio stopped.
