The third day of the Insular Barquillos League of 8'55 meters of Lanzarote will take place on Sunday, which will be the last of the valid races for the Isla de Lanzarote Trophy, which will be awarded to the champion of the first three dates of the season.

Currently, the leadership, after two days played, is for Graciosero Líneas Romero, which is one point ahead of Puerto del Arrecife and two points ahead of Villa de Teguise. Isla de Lanzarote and Haría Volcán de La Corona are somewhat behind for now.

The participating boats, hoping that the five that have formalized their registration can be there, must be prepared so that, at 11-00 in the morning, the Regatta Committee gives the start of the test.

The weather forecast for this Sunday, in the scheduled time for the regatta, is that of a north wind with an intensity that would range from ten to 12 knots, ideal conditions for the celebration of the test and the enjoyment of fans of the barquillos, who week after week follow the evolutions of one of our vernacular sports.

The test, in addition to being able to be followed from the Avenida Marítima, within the possibilities that the weather conditions give to set up a regatta field near the coast, can also be seen through the Facebook of the Insular Federation of Barquillos de Vela Latina de Lanzarote, with the narration of Bruno Farray and the images of Ana Curbelo.
