The Isla de Los Volcanes Rally - Ciudad de Arrecife Trophy will begin its journey with a section in the capital of Lanzarote on September 1st from 6:15 p.m. The Ciudad de Arrecife Super Special, with a route of 1.5 kilometers, will be held on land in the space attached to the Fairgrounds.
This layout is designed to create a spectacle, where teams and pilots can show off their finery before reaching the "serious" route prepared for this edition, whose details will remain secret until the day before the race, at which time everyone will begin to prepare and recognize the terrain, as will fans to select the points on the road book where to watch the rally. All of this will be published in due course through the website and its social networks.
Previously, that same Friday morning the technical verifications of the vehicles will take place, the Skakedown from 1:30 p.m. and the Qualifying Stage at 2:15 p.m. And following the Super Special, the acts of choosing the starting order and the presentation of drivers and teams, in this case in the Islas Canarias Park of Arrecife, from 8:00 p.m.
On Saturday the road book for this 25th edition will take place, which will be made up of 12 timed sections spread over different municipalities of Lanzarote, with an average length of about 7.5 kilometers. It starts early, as the departure is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. and the final arrival from 7:30 p.m., again in Arrecife where the Islas Canarias Park will once again repeat as the setting for the final arrival ceremony.
The international event has the approval of the FIA and has requested the RFEDA for the pre-inspection for the Spanish Rally Cup 2024.
The next event will be the official presentation of the rally, which will take place on Wednesday, August 30, at 12 noon, at the Islote La Fermina, in the Arrecife Marina.
