The CD Tahíche Blanco cadets were proclaimed champions of the Women's Handball League on Saturday morning. The white and blue team needed the victory to secure the league title and represent the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands Championship that will be held in the coming weeks. Tahíche Blanco won 24 to 15 against ACD Teguise.
Aware of how much was at stake in this last game of the season, CD Tahíche Blanco took to the court more focused than their rival. After the logical nerves at the start of the match, Tahíche Blanco took control of the situation and began to mark the first differences on the scoreboard.
In the first half, the attacks of both teams were not very effective and the defenses imposed their law. From the 10th minute, CD Tahíche Blanco hardened its defense, which caused errors in the ball circulation of Teguise and quick counterattacks that ended in a goal.
With a 5-0 run, Tahíche Blanco obtained a difference of 6 goals in the middle of the first half.

Despite tying on points with CB Puerto del Carmen "A", it is Tahíche Blanco that occupies first place as it has a better goal average than its rivals. Tahíche Blanco will represent Lanzarote in the Canary Islands Championship, which will be held in Tenerife in a few weeks.
