For his part, Jonai Díaz explained the technical details of the race, organized by the Aqua & Sports Center sports center and the Teguise City Council with the collaboration of the Island Council, the Chamber of Commerce, the Arenas Internacional School and the Red Cross. He emphasized in his speech "the great reception that this event is having, which will take place over 6 kilometers with the start of the finish line on La Ola street". In addition, he concluded by saying that "in addition to a sporting and festive day, it is also a solidarity event since 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Social Work of the Red Cross for its campaign to purchase school supplies."

Héctor Hernández congratulated the organizers for "an innovative initiative that will contribute to promoting the Island as a tourist and sports destination". Finally, Oswaldo Betancort stated that "this event joins many other successful sports initiatives with which the City Council collaborates and predicted a great future for it". He also concluded by congratulating everyone for their efforts in bringing this event forward. "A priori it is a sporting event but it will also be social and beneficial for all professionals in the sector, as well as philanthropic, since part of what is collected will go to a good cause".
