Grupo Fariones has made available to ADISLAN, Association of the Disabled of Lanzarote, a sports center so that members of the College of this institution can enjoy a few hours of leisure and learning in a fun and relaxing environment.
ADISLAN focuses its work on people with mental disabilities and offers the necessary help to their families. To this end, it develops numerous activities that contribute to improving the living conditions of its members, in order to facilitate their family, social and work integration. To carry out this work, it has an occupational center, an Early Care center, a residence, a leisure and sports club, as well as a Family Care program.
The Grupo Fariones initiative consists of teaching classes, every Friday for two hours, to the students of the College of the Association of the Disabled of Lanzarote. Among the activities that can be developed in the sports center, there are different sports such as tennis, paddle tennis or physical maintenance, through aerobic exercises. In addition, they will have a team of professionals and instructors who will guide and help the members of ADISLAN.
This action is part of the social work of Grupo Fariones, which cooperates with different charitable organizations, such as AFA (Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's patients), Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders or El Cribo (Association for the Defense of the psychiatric patient)
