Last weekend, the Spanish Beach Ultimate Championship in the mixed division, in which boys and girls play on the same team, was held on Sardinero beach in Santander.
The Mubidisk Lanzarote team was proclaimed champion of Spain after defeating the hosts, Corocotta 12-8, in the final. In the semifinals we won against Discterics (Girona) 10-5, in the quarterfinals 13-6 against Quijotes+Dulcineas from Madrid. In the initial group they beat Disckatus from Madrid 13-5 and Bolskandisc from Huesca 13-4.
The hosts, Corocotta Ultimate, climbed to second place and the recent grass champions, Disctèrics Ultimate Girona, took third place.
"It has been a lot of work and sacrifice over a decade on our part, but the wait has been worth it," they said from the team.
