Mayte Elizma from Lanzarote, called up to the national women's Mini-Basket team

Mayte Elizma from Lanzarote, who is just 11 years old, has been called up by the national women's mini-basketball team to attend training with the best players in her category in Spain this summer.
Mayte has developed her entire sports career at the Ariagona basketball club in Lanzarote, where she has played since she was 5 years old.

This player has been competing in the Canary Islands championships since she was 7 years old, and this year she had been called up by the Canary Islands National Team to compete in the Spanish championship of autonomous community teams.

In this Spanish tournament, the Canary Islands team achieved a very commendable fourth place, with Mayte being one of the standouts of the tournament.
Mayte is the third player from Ariagona to participate in national team training with the Spanish Basketball Federation.
