Lanzarote Tías Yaiza has achieved a historic qualification for the promotion phase to the División de Honor de Fútbol Sala. The Lanzarote team depended on themselves, not wasting the opportunity and defeating Jumilla Montesinos. The calendar for the second phase of the season will be known next Tuesday.

Lanzarote Tías Yaiza faced the last classified team, but it was not an easy match. The Lanzarote team started the match with a lot of nerves, committing many inaccuracies in the first stages of the match.

Jumilla Montesinos would take the lead in the 6th minute, with Dely scoring the goal. The goal made Lanzarote Tías Yaiza improve their game and start to manage the match, and the chances began to happen in the opposite goal.

Before the break, Lanzarote Tías Yaiza turned the score around. In the 16th minute, Thiago tied the match and from there everything was different. Just one minute later, Thiago again scored the goal and allowed his team to go to the break with a lead on the scoreboard.

Lanzarote Tías Yaiza dominated the second half and only in the final minutes, in which they took their foot off the gas, allowed Jumilla Montesinos to make up the result. Two minutes after the restart, Thiago completed his great match, with the third goal in his particular account and the third goal for his team.

The match became rough, with many fouls by the Murcians, which were cut with yellow cards by the referees. The sentence came with nine minutes remaining for the conclusion of the match, with Christian being the author of the goal. Jumilla Montesinos established the definitive 3-4, with a few seconds remaining for the end.

The members of Lanzarote Tías Yaiza celebrated their classification in style and nobody was saved from the pertinent shower. A historic milestone achieved by the team chaired by Antonio Riveira, qualifying for the first time for the promotion phase to the División de Honor

Promotion phase

Once the regular phase is over, the top six classified teams from each group access the promotion phase to the División de Honor. Lanzarote Tías Yaiza finishes the first phase located in fifth position and will be framed in group A.

Sala 10 Zaragoza, Azulejos Ramos Talavera, Butagaz Andorra, UMA Antequera and ElPozo Ciudad de Murcia, will be the rivals of Lanzarote Tías Yaiza in the promotion phase. This Tuesday, starting at 12:00 hours in the halls of the National Futsal League, the draw of the calendar will take place.

The competition system will be the of league to double round and only the first classified of each group will obtain the promotion of category. The days 21 and 28 of March, 4, 18 and 25 of April, and the 2, 9, 26, 23 and 30 of May, are the dates in which the different days of this second phase will be disputed.
