On Tuesday night, the process of submitting candidacies for the presidency of UD Lanzarote concluded, with two members successfully completing the process, and elections will be held for the third time in the history of the rojillo club next Thursday. Domingo Gil Padrón and Juan Carlos Albuixech are the two candidates vying for the presidency of UD Lanzarote.
After 7:00 p.m., member number 202, Domingo Gil Padrón, went to the club's headquarters and formally presented his candidacy for the presidency of UD Lanzarote. Minutes later, member number 894, Juan Carlos Albuixech López, did the same, both exhausting the deadline approved in the Extraordinary General Assembly held on January 17.
The elections for the presidency of UD Lanzarote will be held next Thursday, January 30. The 244 members who are on the electoral roll will be able to exercise their right to vote from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the club's headquarters, located at Calle El Isleño, number 4, in Arrecife.
The entire voting process will be supervised by the Electoral Board, which is formed by José Reyes as president, Javier Yañez as secretary, and Nicolás Elás, Vicente Hernández, and Jacinto Robayna as members. Carlos Gimeno is the alternate member of the Electoral Board.
