De la Plata received an elbow to the face against Universidad de Las Palmas in the final of the San Ginés Tournament, held on Wednesday night at the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote.

The left-back, who is sporting a spectacular plaster cast on his nose, will train separately from tomorrow with the team's physiotherapist, Juan Jesús Reyes "Piti", until he can touch a ball again.

Similarly, centre-forward Juanjo, who suffered a sprain in the medial collateral ligament of his right knee in the first semi-final of the aforementioned Tournament, played last Tuesday against CD Tenerife, trained this Thursday morning with the physiotherapist, limiting himself to cycling and recovery exercises.

After this morning's session, which took place mostly in the Ciudad Deportiva gym, the team will train again this afternoon from 5.30 pm. As has been the case since the pre-season began, there will continue to be double daily training sessions until next Sunday, 13 August, when the Rojillos will play their fifth pre-season friendly against Unión Deportiva Fuerteventura in Corralejo.
