Hotel Lancelot San José Obrero lost its first home game this season, losing 12-15 against Adelma Sinfin, second classified and aspiring to play the promotion phase to División de Honor B.
The match started with a lot of intensity and little success, with the first five minutes passing without any score on the scoreboard.
During the first half, the visitors led the score with minimum advantages of 1 or 2 goals thanks to the success of their goalkeeper Barreto, who stopped several shots from six meters. The hotel players noticed the absence of Aparicio.
At halftime, the score was 6 to 7 in favor of the Santander team.
In the second half, the Lanzarote team tried and got closer on the scoreboard, but the experience and quality of the Adelma players prevented any possibility of surprise. In the end, defeat by 12 to 15 despite the good handball displayed by the Titerroy team.
At the end of the match, the local coach, Jesús Casanova, indicated that it had been a very difficult match as demonstrated on the scoreboard. "We have noticed the lack of outside shooting and a little more luck, but this defeat was within the team's predictions, since it is an almost professional team and players who have played in the highest category."
New odyssey for the next match
The next match will be against Trapagarán, another team that is in the top positions of the standings.
The team will travel on Friday night to Las Palmas to then take a plane to Madrid, spend the night at the Hotel 7 Islas and, the next day, take a flight to Bilbao.
Trapagarán is a very difficult team to beat away from home and is characterized by its physical strength. The captain of the hotel players, Sergio Bonilla, stated that "I hope we work well during the week, not have any casualties and be able to bring some points, since we have to score away from home to stay in the middle part of the standings".
