Let's see, it's just a question. Why do we not care about giving our intimate data to private companies and are afraid of giving it to the State? Moreover, why think that the data we have given to private companies does not end up in large corporations and from there in the states? Moreover, how do we think that they are not absolutely interconnected?
Our data is already given. I think I have given more than acceptable and I am a fucking rustic. I don't have internet on my mobile, which I only use for calls. So I only go on the internet here, when I connect from home and even so, what don't they know about me? Here and in China.
Would we accept as invalid a video recording of a pack raping a girl because it is from a street camera? What would we think of the judge, that he defends our freedom or that he is a fucking sick macho? When I enter the hospital half dead, would I appreciate that they have all the possible data of my body on the fly or would I prefer that they go blindly to protect my freedom? Imagine if your children were in those cases. What do we do when we put control bracelets on people who leave prisons? To dogs? What is the VAR in football?
Right now, the common people, that is, almost all of us, do not know the power of the algorithms that process our data. Social networks are an example of how far you can go, because we take it for granted that more or less the same information reaches everyone. But they have enough data already to manage our emotions, feelings and even thoughts wherever they want, and also treating each one individually but leading us to the same goal.
That this can go up a level? Of course. Everything is perfectible. But it is as if now they threatened us with a new weapon and that made us forget that we are up to our asses in nuclear weapons. Then they don't take out such weapons and the nuclear ones are even benign compared to that assumption.
Why do I meditate? Among other things, I meditate for hours and hours to know what there is about me that they don't know about me. Almost 50% (more or less, data not reviewed) of the moves on the Stock Exchange are made by specialized algorithms that have to manage in milliseconds what operations they do and what they don't with the money. You know, investments and stuff. If we know that money is what matters most to them, then imagine now that our emotional state is the investments and at what speed they can handle it. Some for one side, others for the other, they win or lose us in milliseconds. So here, now we are a valuable currency that is disputed. Chinese, Americans, Russians, corporations and even the super down below if it is modernized.
That is the current state of affairs. I would prefer to take the discussion to whether we dismantle it, and not to whether we increase it or not. But the algorithms don't let me. And now getting together to talk is more complicated because fear grows and grows as much as the desire to share, but the algorithms already know those desires to share and at almost the speed of light they are already giving each one of us the way to share so that their investment is positive.
The difference with totalitarianism is that they are managed by a central algorithm. We have a few that are disputed. So if we continue like this, the proposal to think about would be: How is 'Brave New World' better? With only one giving you the egg or with several pulling you?
The algorithms know all this and infinitely more about how I think or feel. They know so much that every now and then they tell me how I should meditate and remind me that how I do it is a mess, and they remind me by putting the best of the best in meditation in front of my nose.
And they also know that I know this. Because they stopped giving me the egg. Now they come with another one but I'm going to let it run for a while. I don't worry them so much either, rather nothing, they have no emotion but they know above all that a million is a million ones. And you and I are a 1. Which is anything but the unit. That unit they do control. The first command that is put in their operation is to avoid that unit, what a beautiful paradox, to make us all one to avoid the unit.
The tide does not rise and fall, the tide goes from one side to the other. And what I am doing is more or less what the algorithm has decided that my way of sharing is for now. Unless you are able to read in the spaces between letter and letter. It is the only one that they still do not control; in fact, right now they do not know what I want to say with those inter grammatical spaces. Neither do I.
