An 8-year-old child was seriously injured this Monday after falling from the first floor of a house into an interior patio in Arrecife, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The incident took place at 7:25 a.m., when the 1-1-2 Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert informing that a minor had fallen from a certain height inside a building.
Personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), Local Police, National Police and firefighters quickly went to the scene, assisted the minor and, due to the severity of the injuries, proceeded to transfer him in a medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
For the moment, the exact circumstances of the accident are unknown.
