The Yaiza City Council has just incorporated four 100% electric cars into the municipal fleet, zero emissions, all Renault Zoe automatics with a range of 300 kilometers, serving different areas of the Administration
According to the City Council, the institution has taken advantage of a subsidy of 300,000 euros from the Ministry for Ecological Transition and has added 138,000 euros more from its budget in order to progressively acquire a total of eleven vehicles, including electric and hybrid vehicles, two of them all-terrain patrol vehicles destined for the Local Police of Yaiza.
Thus, it points out that "in addition to the respect for the environment that the use of electric vehicles implies", "the reduction of maintenance costs" is ensured.
