The City Council of Tías has published on the State contracting platform the announcement of tender for the supply and installation of equipment for the children's park in accordance with the comprehensive renovation project of the Matagorda children's park, Puerto del Carmen, whose estimated budget amounts to 720,712.76 euros, including IGIC.
The contract award procedure, by open procedure and ordinary processing, ends on January 23, the deadline for those companies that wish to apply for this tender.
The contract includes the provision and installation of equipment for playgrounds, swings for playgrounds, climbing equipment for children's parks, slides, seesaws, tunnels, sandboxes, bleachers, wall climbing equipment and ropes.
The mayor and councilors of Urban Planning and Children's Parks, José Juan Cruz, Ulpiano Calero and Christopher Notario, explained that the comprehensive renovation of this park, located on Avenida de las Playas, will allow its expansion from the current 257 square meters to 1,076.74 square meters.
In addition to providing it with numerous play elements and shade areas, the park is intended to meet high quality standards, complying with UNE-EN 1176, 1177 and EN 16630 standards, as well as guaranteeing the inclusion of people with disabilities and PRM (People with Reduced Mobility).
