The Teguise City Council is installing low energy consumption led lights that will illuminate the town's villages at Christmas. The Christmas decorations "will include new figures in roundabouts, slopes and road margins, and also installations that will serve as a photocall for visitors to the most emblematic corners of Teguise", they point out from the Town Hall.

In the center of the Historic Center of the Villa, in front of the Casa-Timple, "the inauguration of a tunnel of lights and a set with the number 2023 in large and a luminous arch is planned in the coming days", they emphasize from the City Council.

Likewise, in the area of the Tourist Information Office of Costa Teguise and on Islas Canarias Avenue, "a sailing boat and two reindeer pulling a cart will be installed, among other typical Christmas motifs, which will welcome visitors at the entrances to the towns", indicates the City Council.

The town of Caleta del Sebo in La Graciosa will also "be decorated with a cube of lights in the shape of a large gift package and a Merry Christmas and during the next few days the installation of lighting will continue in Soo, Tao, Guatiza, Caleta de Famara and in other strategic points that will help to promote open commercial areas, thanks to the tender of the contract estimated at 200,000 euros", they communicate from the City Council.

Teguise will allocate in turn, "about 50 thousand euros", for the design of the Nativity Scene in the Plaza Camilo José Cela in the Villa, where another luminous photocall will be located, and for the floats that will travel the main streets of the municipality in the Cavalcade of Kings, "enhancing the Christmas atmosphere and trying to reach the maximum number of corners of the municipality, including the Eighth Island", concludes the City Council.
