The Arrecife City Council has put out to tender the project for the integral rehabilitation of the Casa de la Juventud, a building located in the Titerroy neighborhood, near the Vía Medular.
The Public Sector Contracting Platform inserts the official announcement of the Arrecife Mayor's Office, dated Monday, July 19, where the bidding process begins for the "service of drafting the project and directing the work for the rehabilitation of the Casa de la Juventud. The tender includes two lots."
For this project, the City Council has allocated an investment of approximately 70,000 euros. With the drafting of these mandatory plans and report, which must be completed in six months (counting from the award), the drafter will provide a descriptive report on the integral rehabilitation of this building and the new plans and measurements, built several decades ago and which presents severe deficiencies, and the details of the costs.
Yonathan de León has highlighted that this project has been "worked on in the previous term", and that he wishes to be able to "execute the rehabilitation works" in this new term. The mayor remarks that "all public investment requires prior availability of economic cost reports and the necessary technical projects, which will allow us to move forward with the bidding for the execution of the works in the near future."
The Councilor for Youth, Rosmen Quevedo Cabrera, values that his Council "has this necessary technical project that allows us to move forward with the rehabilitation of this building where the Youth Area is based and also its classrooms and facilities promote many activities for the youth of the capital."
