The president of the Popular Party of Lanzarote, Astrid Pérez, has confirmed the incorporation of new former members of Ciudadanos into the popular ranks. The latest to join the PP project on the island have been Victor Duque, former councilor of the orange formation in the Arrecife City Council, and Raquel Hernandez, C's candidate for mayor of Teguise in the 2019 local elections.

Last April, the incorporation into the party led by Pérez of who was, also in 2019, Ciudadanos candidate for the Tías City Council, Saray Rodríguez, took place.

The president of the Lanzarote populars has expressed her "satisfaction" for the integration of these colleagues into the PP. "It confirms what we have always maintained, that we are a party that adds and that is open to all those who share our ideals, who are eager and want to contribute, with honesty and seriousness, to solve the problems of citizens from a solid project that is demonstrating its good management in the institutions,” declared Ástrid Pérez.
