The Yaiza City Council concludes this Wednesday the accessibility works in the Playa Blanca dog park, consisting of the construction of a 40 square meter paved walkway.
From the Consortium they point out that this work facilitates the access of users to this fenced play area, destined for the enjoyment of citizens and their pets, also improving "the aesthetics of the site". This is an action framed in the municipal commitment to "favor the transit of pedestrians in public spaces as it is doing with sidewalks and pedestrian walks".
The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, appreciates “compliance with the park's rules of use published on a sign next to the entrance door and all the duties related to responsible animal ownership, ”.
The Playa Blanca dog park occupies an area of 2,300 square meters where dogs "can run freely under the supervision of their owners, drink water and play in the elements installed for this purpose."
“The park satisfies the demand of neighbors, residents and animal protection associations and we continue to implement improvements so that the stay of users is much more pleasant,” says Óscar Noda, who this Wednesday visited the works together with the councilor responsible for the maintenance of municipal facilities, Rubén Arca.
Yaiza thus ratifies its commitment "to animal care and protection", and recalls that in the Yaiza Animal Shelter "there are dogs well cared for by municipal personnel and volunteers from the Doggys del Sur Association who are waiting for an adoption home". Interested citizens can visit the dogs and request information about the adoption process by calling 679453803.
