The vacation homes in Lanzarote have the highest degree of reservations in the Canary Islands for August (89.3%) and is among the destinations in the country with the highest occupancy expected for next month.
At the national level, reservations for tourist homes on the Spanish coast for the month of August is set at 84.5%. This represents a slight decrease compared to last year when it was 84.9%.
This is according to the study carried out by Rentalia, idealista's vacation platform, in which the availability calendars of the different vacation homes have been analyzed.
The coast with a higher level of occupancy in Spain is that of Mallorca, where 98.4% of tourist homes less than 15 km from a beach are already reserved for the month of August.
It is followed by other destinations such as the coast of Menorca with an occupancy level of 94.4%, the coast of Asturias with 90.9% and the coast of the province of Alicante with 90.2%.
After Lanzarote, is located the coast of the province of Almería with 88.9%, the coast of the province of Cádiz with 88.5%, the coast of the province of Girona with 86.9%, the coast of the province of Málaga with 86.2% and the coast of the province of Castellón with 85.3%.
Below the national average is the coast of Cantabria where 84.3% of tourist homes are already reserved for the month of August, followed by the coast of the Region of Murcia with 80.6%, the coast of the province of Pontevedra with 78.8%, the coast of the province of A Coruña with 78.6%, the coast of Fuerteventura with 77.7% and the coast of the province of Tarragona with 76.9%.
Next, the coast of the province of Barcelona with 76%, Tenerife with 75.2%, and Gran Canaria with 75.9%.
