Second resignation so far this term in the Tinajo Town Hall. After twelve o'clock this Thursday, as confirmed to La Voz de Lanzarote by the mayor of the municipality, Jesús Machín, the only PP councilor in the Consistory, Baldomero Cabrera, submitted his resignation.
Machín has expressed his surprise at Cabrera's resignation, for whom he only has "good words", and explained that the councilor has alleged "personal reasons" for adopting this decision. The mayor has defined the until now popular representative in the Tinajo Town Hall as a "humble and very respectable" person and "with great dedication" to the Consistory.
Cabrera, who was the PP candidate for Mayor of Tinajo in the last elections, exercised his functions in the opposition. Now, his position must be occupied by the next in the party's list, Moreiba Fernández Tejera.
