Five flights have been canceled and another ten diverted as a consequence of the adverse weather that is being registered this Friday at the Tenerife North airport, according to sources from Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea (AENA) informed EFE.
Specifically, the meteorological situation has caused the cancellation of four flights from El Hierro and another from Fuerteventura.
Likewise, two flights from Madrid and others originating in Barcelona, Santa Cruz de La Palma, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, and Lanzarote have been diverted to Tenerife South airport.
In addition, two flights from Gran Canaria have returned to their departure airport and a third originating from the same island has been diverted to Santa Cruz de La Palma.
